Workstation Firmware Revisions

 Several inquires have been made regarding the current firmware
 revisions. These tab les include all B, C and J Class Workstations.
 Included are the bas ic fixes and enhancements. If more information
 is needed refer to t he specific firmware patch in the ITRC
 Individual Patches/F irmware Patches/CPU Patches section.

 Description: HP 9 000 Model J2240 firmware 2.0 patch
 Fixes LAN timeo ut problem when the BCH lan search command
 is used
 The BCH search LAN command now allows the number of retries to be
 set to specific values. Two different types can be controlled:
 the number of r etries while searching for a server and the number
 of retries duri ng an IO transfer. These values are set by
 specifying a LAN IP (all zeros means search for any available
 server) followe d by the search retry number and the IO retry
 number. Exampl e: sea lan.0.0.0.0.5.100 specifies a search for
 any available s erver retrying search packets 5 times and IO
 packets 100 tim es.
 Firmware update s will now keep the current EEPROM settings
 for boot paths and configurations rather than resetting them
 to defaults.
 A "-5 returned by LAN entry init" is now only displayed if
 a specific "sea rch lan" is used vs a general "search". A message
 suggesting that a LAN cable may be missing or not connected
 will be display ed also.

 Description: HP 9000 Model J2X0 revision 2.0 firmware patch
 Correct a flash ROM checksum error that causes
 intermittant sys tem halts with error codes of 3000 or 3001
